Austin Texas Old Fashion Holy Ghost Tent Revival
Sept 10th thru Sunday Sept 19th / 4972 Hwy 71 East, Del Valle TX. 78617
Pastor Robert Kershaw & Evangelist C.W. Carpenter

We had 10 nights of Holy Ghost power and deliverance services.  Many came each night for prayer of all sorts.  Salvation, healings, addictions.  God was moving.  We water baptized a small family the last night.  I want to thank pastor Robert Kershaw, pastor Larry Ball, pastor Ortiz and many others who helped set up the tent and take it down.  Brother Paul Terry, and many others led praise and worship.  My sons Derek and Daniel for tent setup.  Thank you all so very much in Jesus name.
Special Thanks to sister Debbie Tran for her two nights of ministry.  You touched them with Gods word and planted eternal seed.

                                                                 Brother C.W. Carpenter

Brother Carpenter with Arnold Alaniz. Brother Arnold gave his powerful testimony how the Lord delivered him from gang life many years ago and after 30 years in lock up. His testimony is an amazing story of the love of God transforming this man.

Philippines Work
Picture
There where several very fruitful trips made to the Philippines years ago. Then my health began to fail me. Doctors told me I had a bad heart. But the Lord has been restoring me and I have started tent ministry work again and planing on return to Philippines in 2019.  I want to see my Filipino son in the faith pastor Noe Macabus and see all the work he has done for the Lord. He was about 20 when I met him. He must be about 40 now. He has established many churches and I am so proud of him. Noe became my main contact and I so want to get back to see him and the Philippines again. The Lord has been restoring my health and and because of His grace and healing I am and ready to return and continue missionary evangelism there.

Crusades were held in villages and cities on the islands of Leyte and Billiran. Meetings became so large we rented a large coliseum on 3 occasions and saw hundreds saved nighlty and many healings and miracles. Local pastors were active and instrumental in setting up venues, quarters, interpretation and transportation between locations. Their help was so very much appreciated.

We are still in contact with the area and pray for them and request your prayers and support for our missions trip in 2019 as my wife and I are planning to return for evangelistic outreaches and to see all our dear friends. we will need $10,00-$12,000 to make the trip next year. Agree with us in prayer to get this budget in a timely manner. Thank you, God bless you

Pastor Lorenzo would play, sing and interpret in the villages of Biliran and Leyte Island after which I would preach the gospel. Many came each time for salvation and healing. God did many miracles.

This was upon entering one of 2 prisons I went to in Southern Philippines. I went to speak to 28 death row inmates. I gave a call for salvation all 28 rammed their arms thru the bars asking to be saved. I remember pastors said they had worked with them many times and never saw that before. The power of the Lord was present to save!

Tent Work
Lubbock, Texas

Picture
Ministering at a West Texas revival. This picture was in Lubbock Texas at pastor Elvin Waters church. Pastor Waters was such a big influence in my life. He had been my pastor when I was young in the Lord and was very understanding. I needed that. I was a mess and his many talks helped me in so many ares of my life. I loved pastor and sister Waters. They pastored 50 years. They both went home to be with the Lord about several years back now. That was my second tent. A 100 by 40 red and white.

My wife said I remember that lady was so afraid of water. I don't recall that but Im sure my wife's memory was correct. Regardless she was baptized and saved and that's what matters. I use to carry a horse or cattle trough to baptize in. If you know anything about tent work it is normal.

This picture was about 1998. John and Ruby Caldwell on my left and right. Sister Waters on the far end. My mother between Sister Ruby and sister Caldwell. They have all 4 gone on to the Lord several years ago. Sister Ruby was a prophet I enjoyed speaking to in my younger days. I miss them all.
We have many pictures that we will go though and post and put more history to this work the past 35 years. I want to thank my daughter Cynthia for updating this website and giving a brief overview of the ministry. I had several radio outreaches that I would like to restart as well. The Lord is restoring my health and Im only 65 years young now. So Lord willing these latter years will be my best and most fruitful. I appreciate yours prayers and partnership. Let us hear from you. God bless you each and all.
